Saint Joseph's (Maine)
Standish, ME- The Lasell University baseball team went 0-2 against Saint Jospeh's Maine on Saturdat afternoon.
Game 1-
Despite collecting eight hits, Lasell fell 2–1 in Game 1. Declan Silva provided the lone run with a solo home run and finished 2-for-3, while several others added hits but the offense couldn't capitalize.
On the mound, Chase Supan pitched well, allowing just two runs over six innings with three strikeouts, but took the tough-luck loss as Lasell was unable to generate timely scoring.
Game 2-
Lasell dropped Game 2, 9–1, as the offense struggled to find momentum. At the plate, Lasell recorded seven hits, with Declan Silva leading the way with a 2-for-4 performance and the team's lone RBI. Calvin Sanft and Nick Nigro also contributed two hits each, but the offense struggled to capitalize, leaving runners on base and striking out 10 times.
Tim Callahan scored the only run for Lasell, reaching base and eventually coming around, but the lineup couldn't string together enough timely hits to keep pace. On the mound, Benjamin Conlon took the loss, giving up five runs over 5.2 innings. Jeremy Wacker and Will McPherson combined to allow four additional runs out of the bullpen as the deficit grew.
