Ft. Pierce, FL- The Lasell University baseball team fell 7-1 against Penn St.-Behrend.
Lasell was limited offensively in a 7–1 loss, finishing with seven hits but leaving 18 runners on base. Connor Freitas led the offense with a 2-for-4 performance and drove in the team's only run with a double. Defensively, the Lasers struggled with five errors, which contributed to several unearned runs. On the mound, Derrick Dellea took the loss after throwing four innings, allowing four runs (one earned) with four walks and three strikeouts. Joshua Cavas followed with two innings and allowed two runs, including a home run. Michael Webber and Will McPherson combined for 1.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts, before Tommy Flanagan finished the game in the ninth.
