Dan Gagnon Tabbed GNAC Baseball Player of the Week
NEWTON, Mass. (3/16/2015) – Lasell College baseball junior shortstop Dan Gagnon (Pomfret Center, Conn.) was named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week ending on Monday, March 16 as announced by the league office earlier this morning.
NEWTON, Mass. (3/16/2015) – Lasell College baseball junior shortstop Dan Gagnon (Pomfret Center, Conn.) was named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week ending on Monday, March 16 as announced by the league office this afternoon.
Gagnon helped the Lasers go 1-1 in their opening doubleheader against Skidmore in Fort Myers, Fla. Gagnon went a combined 3-for-8 (.375), with two triples, a homerun, two RBI's and scored three runs. In game one, Gagnon knocked his third career triple in the top of the second inning and his first career homerun in the top half of the sixth inning in an eventual 9-6 loss to Skidmore. The junior shortstop led the Lasers to their first victory of the season, 6-5, in game two of the doubleheader, with an RBI triple, the fourth of his career, in the top of the third for the Lasers.
Lasell continues its schedule in Fort Myers tomorrow afternoon against Johns Hopkins University at 12:00 p.m.
