The Rams added two more in the top of the sixth, one on an RBI double by Justin Knight (Hackettstown, N.J.) and another on a run-scoring single by Jacobson and Lasell was unable to rally, going down in order in their last two at-bats to fall 6-1.

Jacobson reached on an error to lead-off the game for Suffolk, advancing to second and third on consecutive groundouts before scoring on a wild pitch to put the Rams on top 1-0.
Lasell came right back with a lead-off walk by Dan Gagnon (Pomfret Center, Conn.) and a double by Coscione to give them runners on second and third with nobody out. Uberti reached on a one-out error that allowed Gagnon and Coscione to score giving Lasell a 2-1 lead.
A single by Devan Jones (Roslindale, Mass.) and a double by Collette put runners on second and third with nobody out in the top of the second. Jones came in to score on an RBI groundout by Marks but Bowen escaped the jam with a strikeout, leaving the score tied at 2-2.
