Kevin Post Named GNAC Baseball POTW

NEWTON, Mass. (3/10/14) – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference selected Lasell College junior Kevin Post (Cromwell, Conn.) as the GNAC Player of the Week for his performance in the Lasers first two games. The junior outfielder went 5 for 6 in a season-opening doubleheader against Worcester State, knocking in a run and scoring once. Post tallied four singles, his first career home run and walked once in seven plate appearances. He hit .833 for the week with an .857 on base percentage and a 1.333 slugging percentage.

As a sophomore Post made most of his contributions on the mound, only recording seven at bats all season. As a freshmen Post hit .278 in 36 at-bats for Lasell with three runs scored and three driven in while recording one extra base hit.
