Sherman Earns Honorable Mention National Pitcher of the Week
Greg Sherman earned honorable mention national pitcher of the week recognition from the NCBWA after last week's no-hitter.

Newton, Mass (4/18/13) - Lasell College sophomore pitcher Greg Sherman continues to receive recognition folowing his no-hit effort on Sunday April 14th. The National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association named Sherman an honorable mention selection for National Pitcher of the Week.
Four no-hitters were thrown nationally, and the national pitcher of the week was awarded to Ryan Jacobs of Penn State-Behrend who threw a perfect game. Sherman's no-hit, one walk performance with five strikeouts, was the first no-hitter thrown in school hitsory.
