Second Annual Blue-Gray Classic
Waltham, Mass.- The Lasell College baseball team participated in the 2nd Annual Blue-Gray Fall Classic on Saturday, October 10th, on their home field at Brandies University. The second year varsity baseball team was led by the pitching of Joshua Sullivan (Rockland, Mass.) on the winning Gray team, who went three scoreless innings while striking out three.

The second year varsity baseball team was led by the pitching of Joshua Sullivan (Rockland, Mass.) on the winning Gray team, who went three scoreless innings while striking out three.
Also contributing to the pitching success of the Gray squad was sophomore Matt Pitts (Stoneham, Mass.) who struck out three in two innings without a score. While Angelo Collucci's (Stoneham, Mass.) RBI single brought in Ryan Welch who had hit triple to score the winning run.
For the Blue team, sophomore Randy Weiner (Randolph, Mass.) led on the mound with two scoreless innings, retiring three batters. Matt Mahoney (Rockland, Mass.) had one hit and a walk during his three trips to the plate.
The Lasers are looking forward to an exciting spring season in 2010 which will be highlighted by spring trips to New York and North Carolina.
