Lasers Tip Daniel Webster, 3-2, in Extra Innings

The Lasers ended a six-game skid with the win and improved their record to 4-11 on the year.

Lasell got on top of the Eagles early after Junior Veija (Randolph, Mass.) was walked and scored unearned reaching on an error by Daniel Webster's left fielder.
The Eagles tied the game up in the fourth after a Laser error allowed Zach Cantor (Windsor, ME) on base and a Trevor Duggelby (Nashua, NH) single ran Cantor home. Duggleby scored the go-ahead run for the Eagles as Charles Manning (Riverside, RI) launched an RBI single.
Pat Girard (Stonington, Conn.) had two hits for the Lasers and knocked in Sean Ruderman (Pittsfield, Mass.) in the fifth to even the game once again. Both teams were held scoreless until the extra inning run by Lentini sealed the Lasers road win.
Manning led the Eagles (0-13) going 4-for-5 at the plate and knocked in a run, while Nick Michaud (Windsor Locks, Conn.) added two hits and took the loss on the mound.
Nick Guzman (Worcester, Mass.) earned the win (1-2) for Lasell allowing one hit over 2 2/3 innings of relief for starter Mike Mahoney (Rockland, Mass.), who struck out three and walked two.
