Though Allyson Bushey (Westminster, MA), Jessica Taylor (Standish, ME), and Olivia Tsakiris (Grosvenordale, CT) continued to generate shots for the Lasers, coming up with 4 of Lasell's 6 attempts, they were unable to capitalize, and the Lasers dropped the league opener 1-0.
The final game of the week for Lasell evened the Lasers GNAC record to 1-1. It was an exciting game against Simmons College, which ended with a free kick from 35 yards out by Frollo, who connected with Ferreri taking a diving header to score the game winning goal.
