Vautrin Named to AVCA 30 Under 30

Newton, MA— Lasell University Athletics is pleased to share the announcement of head men and women's volleyball coach Jeff Vautrin as a 2024 AVCA 30 Under 30 honoree.

The Thirty Under 30 honors program recognizes up-and-coming coaches in these different sectors of the sport who serve in a range of roles, from head coach to volunteer assistant to club director. Each of this year's recipients had to be age 30 or under as of Dec. 31, 2023, to qualify for the award.

This year's list of Thirty Under 30 College Award recipients includes women's and men's coaches who are rising leaders in the sport. These honorees work hard and are passionate about teaching, helping players reach their full potential, and growing the game at the collegiate level.

Vautrin has been a member of the Laser community since his time as a player, transitioning to Head Coach of two NCAA programs. The Lasell University Men's volleyball record the year before Jeff took the position: 9-21. Women's volleyball record the year before Jeff took the position: 9-23

Since then, both programs have had full rosters, winning records, set over 10 new program records for each program. The Men's program has been national ranked in the AVCA top 15 every year since COVID ended. The women's program won their first conference championship and went to the NCAA's in 2023.
