Bio

Coach Jonah Mytro is entering his seventh season as the head coach of the Lasell College men's volleyball program. Since taking over the program in 2005, Coach Mytro has turned the program around and has led Lasell to the most wins in the programs history, including a 20-10 record in 2009.

Prior to joining Lasell, he served as the Assistant Coach for the Regis College women's volleyball team.  His resume of coaching experience includes collegiate Division III programs, Junior Olympic Programs, adult clinics and training sessions, and high school programs; including Marlboro High School, Dig This Volleyball Club, Waltham HITS and Spike Boston Volleyball.

Mytro is currently an active member of the New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA) as a player.  He is also a certified USAV referee, a USAV tournament director, and is an elected board member and current President of Yankee Volleyball.  Mytro has over 13 years of playing experience at the high school, collegiate club, and adult club level and competes year round in indoor tournaments in New England and in outdoor doubles open tournaments (grass and beach) in New England and New York.

Mytro competed in the USAV National tournament at the B and BB level in 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007, as well as in the Beanpot and Rick Pierce invitational tournaments, since 2003.

A 2002 graduate from the College of Wooster (Wooster, OH), Mytro was a collegiate three-sport athlete, playing basketball, club volleyball, and track & field. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics.  Currently, Mytro is the President of Q4 Marketing and Media Group, an online marketing firm providing lead generation and marketing consulting services, as well as development and management of proprietary web portals.
