Giovanni Pacini enters his 31st year in coaching and 15th as head men's soccer coach at Lasell College. As the architect of the Lasell program, Pacini has led his Lasell teams to twelve winning seasons, six trips to the North Atlantic Conference finals, two NAC championships, and trips to both the NCAA national and ECAC regional championship tournaments. In addition, the program has earned NCAA regional Top 10 rankings and a regional #3 seed in the NCAA national championship tournament. He has been voted "Coach of the Year" by the North Atlantic Conference in 2000, 2002 and 2006 and also "Collegiate Soccer Coach of the Year" by the Eastern Massachusetts High School Coaches Association in 2005 and 2006.
His involvement with the game spans from youth to the professional level working alongside some of the most noted coaches in the world. He serves the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as the Massachusetts and New Hampshire State Director and is Chairman of the prestigious NSCAA Technical Committee. He is an NSCAA Master Coach, holds the Premier and Advanced National Diplomas, and is a member of both the National Academy Staff and National Goalkeeper Academy staff. In addition, Coach Pacini directs “Make The Save Goalkeeper Training” and“Direct Kick Field Player Academy”. He is published and is a noted expert in the areas of player development and coaching education. Pacini has a series of goalkeeper training videos through Play Sports TV and the NSCAA. He lives in Braintree, MA with his wife, Christine, and dog, Mu Shi.

Hayden Barbosa joins the men's soccer program as an assistant coach for the Fall 2011 season. Coach Barbosa brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the Lasell College mens soccer program. Joining the program as a player in 2002, Barbosa had an immediate impact on the program. During his time as a student-athlete, he was named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Conference First Team and led the program to win the NAC Championships in '02. The following year, Barbosa participated in Lasell’s first ever birth into the NCAA National Championship Tournament. That same year, Barbosa was chosen to play in the prestigious New England Intercollegiate Soccer League All-Star Game.
Coach Barbosa directs several programs, camps, and clinics throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
