Williams Earns First Double Double with 24 Points and 21 Rebounds in Lasell's First Win.
Williamstown, MA--After starting off the season losing two straight games, the Lasers were looking for their first win of the season versus Southern Vermont on Saturday.
Williamstown, Ma--After starting off the season losing two straight games, the Laser's were looking for their first win of the season versus Southern Vermont on Saturday. Lasell started off slow but gained momentum and went into halftime with a 42-37 lead. Lasell was able to keep up the momentum that they had in the first half and won their first game of the season 75-72.
Javon Williams continued to be a bright spot In the Lasers' line-up by scoring 24 points and grabbing 21 rebounds, therefore capturing his first double-double of the season. He played in all 40 minutes for the Lasers.
Charles Horton scored 23 points in 25 minutes of action and Justin Harris contributed by scoring 13 points in 33 minutes of action. Brett Heimann led the team with 4 assists.
Lasell's (2-1) next game will be their home opener against WPI on December 3rd at 7 p.m.
