Bio
Assistant Coach Ashley Rohn returns to the field hockey world after almost an eight year hiatus. A DI scholarship player at University of Rhode Island with multiple years experience coaching at all age levels, Coach Rohn recently moved to the Boston area to begin her first year with the Lasers.
Rohn played four years varsity at URI in both the forward and midfield positions for the Rams, competing amongst some of the countries premiere field hockey players. During her career there, she saw three A-10 conference final and semi-final appearances.
Prior to that, Rohn was a 4 year varsity dual sport athlete in both field hockey and track & field at Farmington High School. She was selected to the Connecticut All-State team both her junior and senior year, and was named Connecticut State Field Hockey MVP, in 1995.
Upon graduating from URI with a her BFA in Studio Art & Design in 2000, Rohn returned to her high school Alma Mater to head coach the freshman team, and assist with the varsity program. She coached many camps throughout the years as well, including at Springfield College, University of Rhode Island, and University of New Hampshire.
In addition to coaching at Lasell, Rohn is also co-owner of BelLA Home Design, a home staging and design business in Milton, Massachusetts. In her free time, Coach Rohn enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their French bulldog, Walter Cronkite.
