Todd Montana is now in his seventh season as head women's basketball coach at Lasell in 2020-21, taking over the program prior to the 2014-15 season. He spent two seasons as a volunteer assistant while working as Lasell's Sports Information Director.
A veteran of nearly 20 years in the coaching profession, Montana was a men’s basketball assistant at Union College (N.Y.) from 2001-03 before moving to New York at LeMoyne College from 2003-2005 in the same role. Montana was named the head men’s basketball coach at Green Mountain College in Vermont in 2005, where he served in that capacity for six years. At Green Mountain he helped rebuild a program that was transitioning from the NAIA to NCAA Division III leading the 2007-08 team to a 21-5 record and the Association of Division III Independents Northeast championship while and being named the AD3I Coach of the Year. He led the Eagles to appearances in the North Atlantic Conference semifinals in 2009 and 2010 before taking a break from coaching following the 2010-11 season and moving to Lasell as the Sports Information Director.
Montana coached seven All-Conference players in six seasons at Green Mountain, including two conference players of the year and one rookie of the year. He coached the nation's leading shot blocker in 2007-08 and the nation's leading scorer in 2009-10.
He also served as the women’s volleyball coach at Green Mountain from 2006-2008, reaching the AD3I championship in 2007 and the NAC semifinals in 2008.
