Jake LaMorte is now in his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Lasers men's lacrosse team since joining the staff in the spring of 2016.
LaMorte helped guide the Lasers to a 16-2 record in 2019 while handling the offensive coaching duties and personnel substitutions. He and the Lasers will be looking to cement upon a respectable 2019 finish, where they narrowly lost to Norwich in the GNAC Championship game.
Prior to coaching at Lasell, LaMorte was a four-year member of the Laser men’s lacrosse team from 2009-2013. LaMorte served as team captain his senior year before completing his Bachelor’s degree in Management in 2013. While playing, he was part of the first ever men’s lacrosse conference championship game in school history. Before Lasell, he coached the Walpole High’s varsity team, Blues Lacrosse in Newton, and Primetime Lacrosse in Wellesley.
LaMorte currently resides in West Roxbury, Mass., and works as a project manager for Northeast Electrical & Mechanical sub-contracting.
