Missett Snags Second Runner of the Week Nod of the Season

NEWTON, MA-  Senior captain Meghan Missett (Lowell, MA) snagged her second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Runner of the Week selection this week after a record setting outing on Saturday.

Missett set a personal best run time of 20:25.01 at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational on Saturday on their 5K course.  Her previous best time was twenty seconds more (20:45) which was recorded in the 2010 season at the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College.

The Lasers next race will be at the Elms Blazer Invitational on Saturday, September 24^th.
