Women's Volleyball Sweeps GNAC Tri-Match
The Lasell College women's volleyball team picked up a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference victories on Saturday September 29th, defeating St. Joseph's College (Me.) in a five set neutral court affair and then knocking off host Suffolk University 3-0.

Boston, Mass. - The Lasell College women's volleyball team picked up a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference victories on Saturday September 29th, defeating St. Joseph's College (Me.) in a five set neutral court affair and then knocking off host Suffolk University 3-0. The victories improved Lasell to 4-1 in the NGAC, and 4-14 overall.
The Lasers defeat the Monks of St. Joseph's in a thrilling five set affair, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 24-26 and 15-13. Sara Biondo (Coventry, R.I.posted a team-high 17 kills, with Alexis Chappell chipping in 13 kills. Alyssa Nahigian (Coventry, R.I.) orchestrated a potent Lasell offensive attack, handing out 44 assists in the five set affair.
Lasell defeated Suffolk 25-17, 25-18 and 25-14 on the strength of six kills apiece from Alexis Chappell and Sara Biondo.
