Alyssa Nahigian Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

Newton, Mass. - Lasell College freshmen setter Alyssa Nahigian (Coventry, R.I.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference women's volleyball Rookie of the Week for her play in helping the Lasers earn three crucial conference victories.
Nahigian put together an outstanding week of volleyball to help Lasell go 3-0 in three Great Northeast Athletic Conference matches. Nahigian directed a potent Laser offensive attack, dishing out 81 assists in just 11 sets to average 7.36 assists/set. She added 11 service aces and chipped in with 31 digs on the defensive end.
