Bio

Jim Swift joined the Lasell College women's soccer staff as an assistant coach beginning in the 2007 season. During his tenure on the women's soccer staff the Lasers have collected 140 victories, seven Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships, and have appeared in the NCAA tournament seven times. Coach Swift has been instrumental in the development of outstanding goalkeepers for Lasell since joining Coach LaFrancesca's staff. In 2010, Swift and the women's soccer program earned their first GNAC championship trophy, where goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley was named Co-Tournament MVP and later an NEWISA honorable mention. 

Before joining the Lasers staff, Swift served as the head women's soccer coach at Mount Alvernia High School beginning in 1993. He lead his teams to seven Catholic conference championships during that time, and his team was honored with the MIAA Sportsmanship Award at the conclusion of their 2007 campaign.
