Lasell's Max Vaughan Receives GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors

NEWTON, MA- Max Vaughan (Wethersfield, CT), of the Lasell College men's volleyball team, received the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week award this week.

Vaughan played tremendously strong all week for the Lasers, taking on multiple roles and excelling at each one. The rookie averaged 3.17 digs per set, which included a 15 dig performance as Lasell's libero against Emmanuel.  He also recorded a double-double against Emerson with 19 assists in addition to 11 digs.

Also during the week, Vaughan tallied nine digs against Mount Ida in a three set victory, and against Albertus Magnus he had an incredible nine aces and distributed 32 assists.
