Parker Selected as Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Spencer Parker, a freshman from Newington, Connecticut, was selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's volleyball Rookie of the week, for the week ending January 24^th. 

Parker, a six-foot five-inch outside hitter, averaged 3.00 kills and .43 blocks per set in his collegiate debut, culminating in a 1-1 week for the Lasers.   He dominated at the net with a 13 kill, three block performance in a 3-1 loss to Medaille, then produced eight kills and three digs in a 3-0 sweep of Wentworth.

The rookie is currently leading the team in total kills this season, with 21 in two matches.
