Harrington Receives GNAC Player of the Week Honors
Newton, MA- Mike Harrington, a 6’4” junior from Billerica, Massachusetts, has been chosen as this week’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference men’s volleyball Player of the Week.

This is the first time Harrington has been recognized for this honor by the GNAC. Harrington was selected after having a huge weekend at the Lasers' net during the SUNYIT Wildcat Invitational. The veteran outside hitter registered a .323 clip over the course of the 3-1 weekend for Lasell, producing 30 kills in eleven sets. He averaged 3.33 kills per set and 2.33 blocks per set. He totaled nine solo and 12 assisted blocks in the four match tournament.
Harrington's most impressive match of the weekend was against Lancaster Bible College, during which he swung for 12 kills in 20 attempts with zero errors, collecting points on 60% of his attacks. He also put down four solo and four assisted blocks in the three sets.
This season, Harrington is averaging 1.65 kills per set and 1.35 blocks per set and is boasting a .281 attack percentage.
