Men's Volleyball Suffers Season-Ending Loss to Saints in GNAC Tournament
NASHUA, NH-- Lasell's men's volleyball team suffered a season ending loss to Emmanuel College Saturday afternoon in the first round of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament. The third seeded Lasers fell to the second seeded Saints in four sets; 30-25, 28-30, 30-16, 30-27.

Freshman outside hitter, and GNAC First Team All-Conference honoree Spencer Parker (Newington, CT) went 13-1-21 at the net, producing a .571 attack percentage in the four set match. Parker also had five digs and one solo block.
Two other first year Lasers had outstanding performances in the GNAC semi-final. Max Vaughan (Wethersfield, CT) recorded a 17-dig day and Will Leclerc (Fairfield, CT) put down 11 kills, picked up eight digs, and added two aces.
Sophomore setter Brendan McGourn (Southington, CT), also an All-GNAC First Team recipient, dispersed 37 assists, and also chipped in with six digs, three blocks and three kills.
Lasell’s senior outside hitter Andy Cass (Wakefield, RI), who played in his final contest as a Laser, had a strong defensive day with 10 digs.
Second and Third team All-league honorees Micah Aiu (Honolulu, HI) and Dan Rogers (Belchertown, MA) contributed with seven blocks and six kills respectively.
The Lasers season culminated with an 18-10 overall record, finishing third in the GNAC.
