Lasers Top Falcons for Second Time this Season

NEW HAVEN, CT- For the second time this season, the Lasell College men's volleyball team defeated Albertus Magnus College, 3-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action.  The Lasers took down the Falcons in three fast sets; 30-10, 30-9, 30-4.

Lasell had a top performance by freshman Max Vaughan (Wethersfield, CT) who distributed 32 assists, recorded nine service aces, and picked up three digs in the contest. 

Also playing well for the Lasers defensively were juniors Dan Rogers (Belchertown, MA) and Mike Harrington (Billerica, MA).  Rogers and Harrington combined for nine digs and Rogers added two blocks.  On offense, Rogers notched four aces off of his serve.

Freshman outsides Alex Mill (Danville, NH) and Spencer Parker (Newington, CT) were the top attackers for Lasell.  Parker notched eight kills in two sets and Mills slammed down five kills for the Lasers in three sets. 

Lasell travels to Johnson & Wales University on Wednesday, February 24th for their next match.  First serve will take place at 7:00 p.m.
