Tim Dunton

Tim Dunton begins his eighth season as the head coach of the Lasell College Men's Lacrosse team.  In his seven years at the helm, Dunton has compiled an overall record of 53-53, during which time he has had the luxury of coaching 18 All-Conference players, two Rookies of the Year, one Player of the Year and four All-New England players. Coach Dunton also serves as a representative for the Pilgrim League on the USILA Top 20 panel and the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee. 

In 2009, the Lasers finished with a 3-5 Pilgrim League record and a 5-10 overall record.  During the 2008 season, the Lasers finished the year with a 10-7 record and qualified for the ECAC tournament, where they became the first team in school history to record a postseason victory, eventually losing to Endicott College in the championship game.  The berth to the 2008 ECAC tournament was the program's fourth overall bid. 

A native of Billerica, Massachusetts, Dunton is a 2000 graduate of Endicott College.  While at Endicott he was a four-year letter winner and named captain in his senior season.  During his senior year he was also named an All-Conference midfielder and participated in the NEILA East-West Senior All-Star game.  Dunton also works at and attends numerous recruiting showcases throughout the summer.  In addition to his coaching duties, Dunton is the Assistant Director of Athletics at Lasell College.  Tim resides in Billerica with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Madison.

Matt Shinney
Title: Associate Head Coach

Matt Shinney begins his first season as Associate Head Coach for the Lasers in 2010.  He will be the Offensive Coordinator as well as assist in recruiting efforts for the team this year.  He brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained from invaluable experience at every level of college lacrosse. 

In 2009, Shinney served as Head Assistant Coach at Endicott College, where he helped lead the Gulls to their second straight ECAC Championship.  Prior to that, he served as an Assistant Coach for Division I Rutgers University.  In 2007, he served as the Head Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Catawba College.  Coach Shinney played HS lacrosse under legendary Coach Tony Manzelli.  He is also a former member of Team Ireland.  Coach Shinney currently resides in Raynham, MA.

Ryan Walsh
Title: Assistant Coach

The 2010 men's lacrosse season will mark Ryan Walsh's third season as an Assistant Coach for the Lasers.  As the Defensive Coordinator of the Lasers in 2008, he saw his defense finish the season ranked #6 in the country in goals per game.  He rejoins the Lasers after having served our country in Iraq during the 2009 campaign. 

Walsh was a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army stationed in Baghdad, Iraq with his unit.  He is a 2006 graduate of Endicott College where he received a degree in Criminal Justice.  While at Endicott, he was a three-time All-Conference goaltender, two-time All-New England, two-time ECAC All-Region and part of a team that won three Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships, and made three NCAA tournament appearances.  Walsh also captained the team his senior season.  Upon graduation he was selected to play in the NEILA Senior All-Star Game, where he was named "Most Valuable Player". 

Prior to Endicott, Coach Walsh was an All-American at Weymouth HS, where he played for legendary coach Tony Manzelli.  Coach Walsh will be the defensive coordinator for the Lasers this spring.  Walsh currently resides in Weymouth, MA with his wife Meghan and daughter Riley. 

Josh Maciorowski
Title: Assistant Coach

Coach Maciorowski will begin his third season as a defensive assistant with the Lasers for the 2010 campaign.  He graduated from Endicott College, in 2005, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management.  His freshman year he transferred from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst to Endicott College where he remained a four-year starter as a defensemen.  While at Endicott he was a three time All-Conference selection, and part of a team who won two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships as well as posted two NCAA appearances.  While at Endicott, his team posted an in-conference record of 32-2.  He was also part of the first team ever to win an NCAA tournament game for Endicott Lacrosse.  In his senior year, he was the leader of the defensive unit that averaged a goals against average (GAA) in Conference play of 4.8, and overall of 7.3; ranking Endicott's defense 11th overall in Division III.  He also served as captain his senior year, and was the recipient of the Coach's Award.  He was also selected to play in the NEILA East West All-Star Game as a senior.  Maciorowski is currently residing in Boston, Massachusetts and recently received a Masters Degree from Northeastern University, in Sports Leadership. 

Lou Lucchetti
Title: Assistant Coach

Lou Lucchetti begins his first season as an offensive assistant with the Lasers in 2010.  Lucchetti had a stellar career as a player at Lasell, graduating in 2006 as the program's all-time leading scorer.  He was named the Pilgrim League Rookie of the Year in 2002, Player of the Year in 2003, as well as was named an All-Conference midfielder all four years.  He was a team captain during his senior season and was named to the NEILA East West All Star game.  He also garnered an NEILA All New England award, as well as ECAC All-Region in his senior campaign.  Lucchetti will be helping the Lasers this season with offensive player development.  Lucchetti is currently residing in Newton, MA. 

Mike Maggio
Title: Student Assistant Coach

Mike Maggio joins the coaching ranks this year as a student assistant.  Maggio finished his playing career ranked #7 all time in Lasell history with 135 total points in his four year career.  Mike was a two-time All-Conference Midfielder and was selected as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons with the Lasers.  He also was invited to play in the NEILA East West all star game during his final season and was named to the ECAC All-Region team.  Maggio will be responsible for the substitution area this year, as well as assisting with player development on the offensive end.
