Berube named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week

Lasell's Don Berube was honored by the GNAC for his play a pair of Lasell victories over St. Joseph's (ME) and Mount Ida.

Junior Don Berube (Tewksbury, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the week, following a pair of outstanding performances in net for the Lasers. He held St. Joseph's College of Maine to a pair of goals against eight saves in three quarters of work as Lasell gave the Monks their first loss in conference play, 16-4.

Berube then came back with his best game of the season, stopping 15 shots as the Lasers defeated Mount Ida, 7-6. The victory was the second of the week for Lasell, and give them sole possession of first place in the GNAC heading into the final weeks of the season.
