Bio
David Dickerson joined the Lasell College baseball staff in the fall of 2012, and will serve as an assistant coach with his primary responsibility being to serve as the fielding coach. Prior to joining the Lasell coaching staff Dickerson was an assistant at his alma mater, Eastern Nazarene College.
While at Eastern Nazarene Dickerson served as the team's fielding and hitting coach. Under his tutelage the Lions hit .281 during the 2012 season, the fourth best mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, while also finishing fourth in the league in homeruns with 11. Coach Dickerson also works with the JM Force AAU baseball program based out of Foxboro, Mass.
David began his coaching career at his high school, Timothy Christian Academy in Piscataway, N.J. where he was in charge of the team's pitching staff. His staff had four pitchers post ERA's below 2.00 for the season, and sent one senior pitcher on to the collegiate ranks.
In college at Eastern Nazarene, Dickerson was a four-year member of the baseball program and served as a team captain for his junior and senior seasons. At ENC David pitched and played first base, also spending some time behind the plate his junior year. In his senior season, he batted .400, posted a .979 fielding percentage at first base and led the Commonwealth Coast Conference in on-base percentage at .520.
Coach Dickerson resides in Quincy, Mass, with his wife Sarah.
