Bio
A 1979 graduate of Northeastern University and native of Sandwich, Chris "Doc" Troyanos started his sports medicine career at Babson College as a co-op student in 1978. Over the next 25 years, he established one of the finest Division III sports medicine programs in New England. Prior to arriving on the Lasell College Campus this past fall, Chris had been working at Children’s Hospital Boston as their Associate Director of Corporate Giving.
Even during a four year career change as a development officer, Chris has remained a fixture in the realm of sports medicine, continuing his duties as the medical coordinator for the Boston Marathon, a position he has held for the past 20 years. In addition to his work with the Boston Marathon, Chris finds time to coordinate the medical coverage for a number of sporting and charity events throughout New England, including the annual Jimmy Fund Walk.
Chris resides in Norfolk, MA with his wife, Joni and their two sons, Jason and Nick.
