Aaron Galletta begins his sixth year at Lasell College, and his fourth season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach. During his first three seasons, Coach Galletta helped guide the Lasers to a 55-31 record, as well as a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship title, as well as appearances in both the ECAC regional and NCAA national tournaments.  During his tenure, Galletta has coached four All-Conference players, two Player of the Year honorees, and one Josten's Trophy Finalist & D3Hoops All-American Honorable Mention.

Coach Galletta brings to the Lasell program a wealth of basketball knowledge garnered as a player and a coach. He graduated from Union College as the all-time leading scorer in 2002, with 1,949 career points.  During his senior year, he led the Dutchmen to the second round of the NCAA tournament. He was named ECAC Upstate NY Player of the Year, NABC All-American Second Team, and was also a D3Hoops Third Team All-American selection. Coach Galletta was also one of ten national finalists for the Jostens Trophy, given to the top Division III male basketball players. Before coming to Lasell, Coach Galletta spent a year as an assistant at Mount St. Mary College, where he helped the team to a 23-8 record, and an ECAC berth.
