Tim Dunton begins his seventh season as the head coach of the Lasell College Men's Lacrosse team after a successful 2008 campaign. The 2008 Lasers finished the year with a 10-7 record. They qualified for the ECAC tournament, where they became the first team in school history to record a postseason victory, eventually losing to Endicott College in the championship game. The berth to the ECAC tournament was the team's 4th overall. Dunton has compiled an overall record of 48-43 in his first six years at the helm. He has had the luxury of coaching 17 All-Conference players, 2 Rookies of the Year, 1 Player of the Year and 3 All-New England players. Coach Dunton also serves as a representative for the Pilgrim League on the USILA Top 20 panel, as well as the Regional Advisory Committee.
A native of Billerica, MA, Dunton is a 2000 graduate of Endicott College. While at EC he was a four-year letter winner and named captain in his senior season. During his senior year he was also named an All-Conference midfielder and participated in the NEILA East-West Senior All-Star game. Dunton also works at and attends numerous recruiting showcases throughout the summer. In addition to his coaching duties, Dunton is the Assistant Director of Athletics at Lasell College. Tim resides in Billerica, MA with his wife Karen and daughter Madison.
